Parts and Accessories

All GCS grain cleaners include a number of must-have accessories that enable customers to start operating as soon as the machine arrives on their place of business. Hopper extension, discharge chutes and air discharge deflector play a critical role in helping manage the grain cleaning process. Additionally, parts of the grain cleaner that tend to have the most wear and tear such as hopper and the inside of separation chamber are all made from stainless steel to extend longevity of the machine. One of the key improvements to the grain cleaners in recent years has been the addition of the roller inside of the hopper in larger models (GCS-1000 grain cleaner and up). Roller ensures the grain spreads evenly in the hopper and prevents any bridging that can occur especially with light crops such as oats, hemp, grass seeds and others. Since all of the electrical parts are procured in the USA they are all readily available in North America ensuring limited downtime in case a replacement is needed.

GCS fan-powered seed cleaners are the most energy efficient machines on the market. By the use of axial type fan and advanced aerodynamic system GCS grain cleaners require minimum energy to operate. The smallest model GCS-200 grain cleaner draws maximum 3 amps on single phase 230V and the biggest model GCS-2200 grain cleaner draws maximum 22 amps on single phase 230V. We are able to customize to any power requirements depending on the need of our customers (single phase, three phase power with any voltage combination). Sometimes there is a misconception about using axial fan versus centrifugal (square) cage fan where claims are made that the latter is superior to axial fan. Centrifugal fan is designed to move air for a long distance which is simply not required in the grain cleaner application. Thus, the use of centrifugal fans in fan-powered grain cleaners is mis-used application driving the energy consumption way higher requiring 3 times the amperage and horse power to operate them and requires additional restriction of air flow to ensure the grain doesn’t get blown out of the cleaning chamber due to high velocity of air flow.

The GCS-450 is capable of cleaning up to 450 bushels per hour of wheat, oats, soybeans and hemp among other crops. In calibration mode (sizing by weight) the unit can operate at an impressive rate of 400 bushels per hour. For smaller to mid size farming operations of around 2,000 acres this model would be a great fit.
